Dr. green

Services

Our mission is to serve children with autism spectrum and related disorders, regardless of geographical location. Most children with autism  have very complex and unique medical issues.  Dr. Green addresses these issues and collaborates closely with parents to help restore health and balance to their children.  Without this teamwork, healing is not possible, as parents know their children best. Our practice is unique in that we work with families all over the world and much of our collaborative work with parents occurs by email, video-conferencing and telephone.  Ideally, new patients come to our Oregon or Washington clinic for a complete initial evaluation. We also have a satellite practice in Kailua, Hawaii twice a year and work in Kalisz, Poland twice a year. Follow-up visits can be done in person, over the phone, or by video-conference.  Between visits, parents stay in close contact with Dr. Green by email. Many insurance companies are now covering  video-conference appointments with physicians.   In-person office visits are generally billable to insurance companies, while phone and email consultations are not covered by insurance except under extraordinary circumstances. Our office does not bill insurance directly, but we are happy to give your a “superbill” which you can then submit to your insurance company.

We understand that most parents are stressed financially today (in addition to the other stresses of parenting a special needs child), and will strive to be efficient and economical in our work with you. In addition, if you live far away and have seen benefit with IV therapies given by us or another clinic, we will be happy to assist you in obtaining these therapies through a local doctor, visiting nurse service, or through alternative delivery techniques not requiring IV’s.

Becoming a Patient

We are grateful for your interest in our practice, and especially for the honor to serve the dedicated families who come to work with us. We see patients in our Oregon City and Spokane offices, in Poland twice a year and in Kailua, Hawaii twice a year. We recommend that Hawaiian patients contact the Hawaii chapter of TACA , or our office for more information regarding our work in Hawaii. We also have an active phone, email and video-conference practice for those patients who are not able to come into the office. (See below- Consultations from Afar.) In general, it is best if we can see the patient at least once a year (but preferably more) in person. Please review our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section to obtain answers to commonly asked questions and feel free to contact the office prior to writing your inquiry if you have any questions.

Email Consultation from Afar

We recognize that not every family is able to travel to one of our offices, especially if you live outside of the United States, and that families are in desperate need of help and guidance from a trusted mentor.  In these cases, we are willing to work with you long distance via email, video-conference and telephone.  Dr. Green consults with families all over the world.  In general, this process starts with a thorough review of your child’s medical history after which Dr. Green will make his initial recommendations.

Our office will contact you after we receive your inquiry. At this time, we will ask that you sign up for our patient portal by clicking here.
